Praise the process, not just the picture

Helpful answers

Art & Crafts for Kids FAQs

What age is this creative page for?

The activities are designed for a broad range of children, roughly ages 3–12. Younger children need adult help with materials and tools; older children can adapt the projects with their own designs.

Do we need expensive art supplies?

No. Paper, crayons, pencils and clean reusable packaging are enough for many activities. Use materials you already have and avoid anything sharp, toxic or unsuitable for children.

Can children save their digital drawing?

Yes. Use the Download artwork button to save the doodle canvas as a PNG image. The drawing is generated in your browser and is not uploaded to this website.

What if a child's art does not look like the example?

That is completely fine. Creative activities are about experimenting, making decisions and expressing ideas. There is no single correct design.

Are the printables free?

The activity sheets on this page are available to open and print for learning practice. Printer, paper and ink costs may apply.
