German Connectors: denn, weil and da
Explain reasons and control German word order with coordinating and subordinating conjunctions.

Explanation
denn connects two main clauses and keeps normal word order. weil and da introduce subordinate clauses, so the conjugated verb goes to the end.
Ich bleibe zu Hause, denn ich bin krank. · Ich bleibe zu Hause, weil ich krank bin. · Da ich krank bin, bleibe ich zu Hause.

Examples
Ich lerne Deutsch, denn ich möchte in Deutschland arbeiten.I learn German because I want to work in Germany.

Da es regnet, bleibe ich zu Hause.Since it is raining, I stay at home.
Ich bin müde, weil ich wenig geschlafen habe.I am tired because I slept little.
