German wenn-Clauses
Use wenn for conditions and repeated present or future events.

Explanation
wenn can mean “if” or “when/whenever.” The conjugated verb goes to the end of the subordinate clause.
Wenn ich Zeit habe, besuche ich meine Freunde.

|---|---|
| Condition | Wenn es regnet, bleiben wir zu Hause. |
| Repeated time | Wenn ich Zeit habe, lese ich. |
| Future possibility | Wenn du viel lernst, bestehst du die Prüfung. |
Examples
Ich helfe dir, wenn du willst.I will help you if you want.
Wenn wir Hunger haben, kochen wir etwas.When we are hungry, we cook something.
Wenn der Sommer kommt, fahren wir ans Meer.When summer comes, we go to the sea.
